Welcome to the Habitat Segment of Space Station Ian Fleming.
This segment was designed to make life on the Station enjoyable and
relaxing while conducting business here. The Habitat segment can be
divided up into two major parts, Accomodations and the Promenade.
Accommodations
Each visitor or resident to the Ian Fleming will be assigned the
most advanced crew quarters the Federation has to offer. Each room
is spacious and can be individually decorated and designed for
whatever the tastes or needs of the occupant. The Ian Fleming
along with the approximately 300 Starfleet personnel and 150
Intelligence personnel, can house up to 300 visitors and
dignitaries for a capacity total of nearly 700 people.
The Promenade
With a goal in mind of providing crewmember a semblance of normal
life within the station, the primary showpiece of the Habitat Segment
is the Promenade. This area was designed to provide the station's
inhabitants with the necessary recreational and emotional relief
needed to maintain peak operational efficiency.
The Promenade is a three deck high oval design.
The highest deck connects with two different environmental arboretums.
In the central portion of the lower deck of the Promenade, is "Central Park",
a beautiful garden park with a variety of plant life and waterfalls.
Surrounding these areas, there are various kinds of restaurants, venders,
holosuites, nightclubs, and just about any kind of diversion needed for
crewmembers. Most of these facilities are owned by civilians who have
passed strict and intensive security checks.
Security
Certain areas of the station are restricted areas and are off-limits.
Any unauthorized attempt to access these areas can be meet with
deadly force. Please take note of these areas on your
orientation brochure and stay clear! |
