The Science Research facilities aboard Space Station Ian
Fleming are the most advanced offered by the Federation. These facilities
provide the science staff with an impressive complement of tools and research
equipment with which to
handle an extraordinary range of scientific situations for both known and presently
unknown species and phenomenon.
Facilities
The Science deck is divided into 6 individual
fields of Science Studies: Space Sciences, Social Sciences, Planetary Sciences,
Physical Sciences, Life Sciences and Technology Sciences, each with dedicated
research labs. Under each Science studies there are individual specialty
departments which specialize in a particular field of study. The Individual
departments are: Stellar Cartography, Astrogation, Astronautics, Astrophysics,
Law, History, Archaeology, Political Science, Language, Customs and Diplomacy,
Economics, Planetary Cartography, Seismology, Hydrology, Meteorology,
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Unusual Phenomenon, Botany, Ecology,
Exobiology, Genetics, Zoology, Computer Science, Nano-Technology, Bionics and
Artificial Lifeforms.
